Serpent Tree

free admission

The dramatic Serpent Tree Sculpture is located in the north garden at San Diego’s Waterfront Park.

It’s a fabulous photo opportunity, with the shimmering colors of the ten headed snake set against San Diego’s brilliant blue sky.

The sculpture was created in 1999, designed by local artist Niki de Saint Phalle.

After checking out the sculpture, dip your feet in the giant wading pool at the Waterfront Park, or take your kids to the fabulous playground behind it.

The Maritime Museum is across the road, and has a flotilla of historic ships to explore.
